We are coming off our best golf betting week in a while with Morikawa and Wise both coming in the top 5. Fair play to Rory who dominated the CJ Cup with an excellent Saturday. These DFS contests with no cut are always hard, but if you followed my tips last week you should have cashed with all 3 picks finishing inside the top 15.
Onto this week and the ZoZo Championship in Japan. Word of warning get those lineups set as this tees off at 12.30 Thursday morning UK time. The ZoZo championship returns to the Narashino course this year, after a year away due to Covid. The course itself is 7,041 yards long, a par 70 and has bentgrass greens. Some key stats for this week include strokes gained from tee to green and driving distance. Much like last week this is a no cut event, with 78 players in the field.

DFS Plays
Hideki Matsuyama $10,300 – The Masters champion returns home to his native Japan. Matsuyama has good course history around here, having finished runner up in 2019 behind Tiger Woods. He comes here in recent good form with a tied 6th at the Fortinet back in September, a tied 2nd at the St Jude in August and a tied 4th at the Olympics. The course this week sets up similar to that of the Olympics and if Matsuyama can get hot with the putter this week he could go all the way, as recent driving stats and tee to green stats match what we are looking for this week.
Jhonattan Vegas $8,900 – I’m back on Vegas again this week. He was incredibly low value last week and he paid off massively, finishing tied 14th. He is a golfer in major form and I’m ready to ride the hot hand again. Vegas has not lost shots from tee to green since the Players Championship back in March! Vegas comes here with 6 top 16 performances in his last eleven starts including 2 runner up performances. Until he is priced up accordingly, I’m going to ride the hot hand till he burns me.
Harry Higgs $7,400 – Higgs is coming off his best finish since the PGA championship back in June where he finished tied 4th. He was tied 9th last week in the CJ Cup, but what impressed me the most was the strokes he gained with the putter 5.98. He also gained 4.02 strokes from tee to green, a key stat for this week. Higgs also has 5 top 38 performances in his last 6 starts, he is a golfer in form who hits all the stats for this week.
